As you would expect from such a vast region the weather does vary considerably and is not easy to summarise in such a small space. However, it is a year round destination. Generally speaking expect high temperatures during the summer months, particularly in southern Nevada, Arizona and Utah. The National Parks will be very busy in the summer months and accommodation books up quickly. Winters tend to be cool rather than very cold, although mountain regions do experience snow.

The flying time from the UK to Las Vegas, Phoenix or Salt Lake City is about 10 hours 30 minutes, while Denver is approximately 10 hours flying time.
