Elephant Hills is very much a year round destination. Whilst December-April is officially considered to be the dry season, Khao Sok’s rainforest location means that rain may still occur at any time. Most activities are available in all weather. Chiang Mai’s cool season (December-February) is a popular time to visit and, while the hot season (mid-March to June) and the rainy season (June-November) brings higher humidity and rain, it doesn’t tend to rain all day and as with Khao Sok, most activities are available in all weather.
There are no direct flights from the UK to Khao Sok National Park. Fly from Bangkok to Phuket and then travel onwards by road for approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Khao Sok National Park is also accessible from Khao Lak, Krabi, Koh Samui or Surat Thani. Bush Camp, is approximately 2 hours drive from Chiang Mai airport.
