Spanning nearly 11 million acres in southwest Cambodia the Cardamom Mountains are a vast mosaic of interlocking eco-systems from wildlife-rich rainforest to coastal mangroves. The coolest and most pleasant season runs from November to February, before it heats up during March to June. The rainy season tends to fun from July to October, but occasional rain can be expected from mid-April. September and October is when the most rain falls and the river can rise quite dramatically.

Botum Sakor National Park is 4 hours by road from Phnom Penh followed by a boat journey to each lodge.
