This picturesque gem lies in central Vietnam and entices with its wide pristine beach, azure ocean, lush mountains, picturesque islands, lively boulevards and buzzing back streets. Surprisingly it only attracts a trickle of foreign tourists, although as more hotels appear it’s unlikely to remain undiscovered for much longer, so now is definitely the time to visit.
The gently curved bay runs along the eastern edge of the town and is an inviting spot to laze on the soft sands. There are a few beach bars and restaurants to tempt you for a cooling drink where you can sit back and admire the stunning sunset, before perhaps feasting on the catch of the day.
Away from the beach there are local markets to browse, quaint fishing villages to explore, the huge sand dunes of Nhon...
Although very much a year round destination, the best time is considered to be between January and May, when temparatures range from around 25-32ºC. In June or July the temperatures and humidity are higher, while the highest rainfall is between the months of September and December, although showers tend to be relatively short lived and there is still lots of sunshine.
