Estimated at 130 million years old Taman Negara National Park is a vast 1,677 square miles of verdant jungle, fast-flowing rivers and sky-high peaks.
The park is a haven for a huge variety of wildlife. Whilst you’re unlikely to see elephants, tigers and leopards, which are able to stay well hidden, you’ll be compensated by the song of insects and birds, tropical flora, towering trees and with luck, may well chance upon lizards, deer, snakes and even the occasional monkey swinging between branches.
Get your own bird’s eye view of the forest with an amble across the world’s longest canopy walkway. At 147 feet high and 1,673 feet long, this suspended rope bridge is a must do activity. At ground level, marked trails let you to explore under your own...
