Kuantan’s climate is classified as tropical rainforest due to its location on the river estuary and coastline. The hot dry season is the best time to visit which is between April and September, but you’ll also experience some sunshine during the October to March rainy season.
There are no direct flights from the UK to Kuantan. Options include travelling by road from KL to Kuantan, which takes approximately 3 hours 25 minutes; or fly from KL, which takes just under an hour.
