Lying along the migration path of polar bears and beluga whales, Churchill attracts wildlife enthusiasts from all over the globe. There are many different ways to see Churchill’s polar bears including aboard unique tundra vehicles, which are designed to move carefully over the uneven terrain. They provide a safe way to view and photograph bears. Here also you can go...
In winter in Churchill, you can expect temperatures to range from a high of around -15°C to a low of -24°C (although the windchill can make that feel much colder). If you’re photographing the Northern Lights at night, prepare for extremely cold conditions. Spring in Churchill is quite cold as well, and while summer weather is warmer it can still bring cold and rain.
